Material & Construction

The body fabric is a cotton knit. It has the soft, dry hand feel that reads as sleepwear rather than daywear, and it takes print cleanly — which is why a detailed all-over artwork such as the dinosaur print keeps its edges instead of bleeding into the base cloth. The knit holds enough body to fall straight on the hanger, so the same block works as a family set across a wide size range without looking stretched on the larger sizes or baggy on the small ones.

The top is a straight-cut long-sleeve body with a round neck finished in a ribbed band that stretches over the head and returns to shape. Sleeves and pants are both closed with a ribbed cuff at the wrist and ankle, which keeps the fabric in place while sleeping. The pants use an elastic pull-on waistband with no drawcord, so there is no loose tie at the tummy on the smaller sizes, and the crotch is cut with extra room for movement. Internal seams are finished flat so the inside of the garment sits smooth against the skin rather than rubbing. The print is carried continuously across the shoulder and sleeve joins so the artwork does not break at the seams.

Prints: the set is shown here in an all-over dinosaur print, with a vehicle print, floral, rainbow, hearts and plaid also available from the range. Any of them can be replaced with your own artwork for a private-label programme.

Colors: solid colorways are dyed to your own reference. The palette below covers the range the mill works in most often, and a physical color card is supplied on request so exact shades can be checked against your assortment before the order is placed.
